Uber categories explained (for drivers)
UberGo is the budget category for small cars, UberX is the standard category for regular hatchbacks and sedans, Comfort is for newer, roomier cars, UberXL is for 7-seaters, and Uber Black is for premium black cars. Your car decides which categories you can drive; the approved model list differs by city.

Questions drivers ask
What is Uber Black?
Uber Black is a premium category with stricter rules on car model, age and colour. It pays more per trip but the car costs much more.
Which category earns most?
